Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM)

£95 per person or free if you are assessed as eligible for legal aid (please send an email requesting LAA evidence requirements)

 

Mediation meeting fees (up to 90 minutes):

These are based on gross income before deductions are made; evidence of your income should be produced at your MIAM. The following fees are per person:

 

Band A: Below £24,499  

£105 per session

Band B: £25,000 to £34,999   £120 per session               

Band C: £35,000 to £49,999 £160 per session                     

Band D: £50,000 to £69,999 £175 per session                     

Band E: £70,000 to £99,999 £200 per session                     

Band F: £100,000 to £149,999 £225 per session 

Band H: over £150,000 £240 per session                                                               

Documentation fees (a one-off charge, per person):

Open Statement of Financial Information £70 per person

Parenting Plan £40 per person

Agreed proposals (or Memorandum of Understanding) £115 per person

Administration cost:  C100/ Form A MIAM or post mediation £35

Cancellation policy

There is a charge of 50% of the session fee for changed or cancelled appointments with less than five working days' notice. The same fee applies for non-attendance.

Payments BACS payment is required three working days before each meeting; the invoice will provide transfer details.

Meeting room costs for face-to-face meetings; price to be agreed, subject to venue.
